Have you ever dreamed of making something on the pottery wheel? To explore clay, but don’t really feel that the potters wheel is “your thing?” Well, come on over to azure arts studio and jump right in during this immersive workshop. We'll start with a demo of how to make a pot, step-by-step whether on the wheel or off the wheel (known as hand building in the clay world) and then dive right into making your own personal pot or two. Who knows, maybe by the end you'll feel like a pro! You may even get hooked and discover a new hobby.

$50 per person for wheel throwing, $60 per person for hand building for this 2-hour workshop. This fee includes all materials, glazing and firing of one piece to keep. We will also be happy to arrange shipping of finished pieces to you. Limit ten people (minimum of three people) for wheel throwing, eight people (minimum of four people) for hand building.

To book and schedule your class:

• Workshop times can be booked for up to 10 people for wheel throwing and 8 people for hand building. A booking for a workshop does not constitute a private workshop if the booking is for less than 8 people. Therefore, other people outside your group may also be a part of the workshop on the date you are scheduling it for. If you would like your workshop to be a private group, please add the appropriate choice to your cart from the options provided in the private workshop upgrade listing. For example, if you have 3 people in your group for wheel throwing, add “private workshop for 3 - wheel throwing.”

• Once your workshop is booked, please use the schedule your class now! button on this website. Each person in your group should be added to reserve an individual’s spot for the chosen time.
